The Nature of Fifty-Five

A small project set in the fictional world of the (Secure. Contain. Protect)SCP universe, an online collaborative fiction regarding a shadowy organization with the mission to contain anomalies that deviate from their defination \of baseline reality. Rooted in horror, science fiction, and more, there are various formats for the narratives in the SCP universe. This project concerns the concept of the 'Antimeme' best defined as a “self-keeping secret" or "knowable unknowable". This is best characterised in the SCP object, SCP-055. Information about SCP-055's physical appearance as well as its nature, behaviour, and origins are self-classifying. Despite its nature, there are currently three things known about SCP-055 in that it has been given an object number, ‘SCP-055’, that it is an ‘anti- meme’ (an idea with self-censoring properties), and that it is not a sphere.

This project follows attempts in identifying what SCP-055 is.
